Jane Devlin is owned by eight Siberian Huskies, and moved to Bend, Oregon to
enjoy it's many trails and outdoor opportunities. She is a certified Pet Dog Trainer
and writes environmental books for children. Jane started rescuing Huskies with a
local group in California, and now does education on the breed at event, schools, and
Assisted Living Facilities, as well as presentations on Alaska, The Iditarod Sled Dog
Race, Pet Care, and Safety around dogs. She is involved in dog-sledding and carting,
Therapy Dogs, obedience, Search and Rescue, and competes in Agility with two of
her Huskies that were rescued off freeways. Seven years of agility has created
body awareness and a trusting bond with those two dogs. Riff Raff has earned his
MXJ, MX, is half way to his MACH and CGC. Holy Toledo has earned his NAJ,
NA, and CGC!
Jane's three most memorable accomplishments are being a Public Radio DJ, Training
dogs for the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation (NDSDF) and being a dog
handler at the 2000 Iditarod Sled Dog Race in Alaska!
Jane enjoys helping strengthen the human-canine communication bond and seeing
people enjoy their dog as a member of their family. She is grateful to be a part of
the Agility Program at Desert Sage's Canine Care!
